Drawings made for the Chess Olympiad

2014: Drawings for the Chess Olympiad is basically me drawing the chess pieces in my style and going from there. I wanted their characters to be fierce and strong since chess is a battle, it is war. Being very fond of ancient, ritualistic or spiritual drawings my characters became very much like that. I used the figures in new works, as stamps - copying and destroying them. I imagined chess more as something that goes on in the mind of a player and was not interested in the black and white squares, The checkered board. Printed as unique prints.
